The PD-232 loop detector is a dual microprocessor-based detector specifically designed for parking and vehicle access control applications. Its primary function is to detect vehicle presence through inductance changes caused by vehicles passing over a buried wire loop.

This loop detector is used in vehicle access control areas to maintain barrier gate opening until the vehicle leaves the coverage area.
